Therapists

Our team consists of dedicated Feeding Therapists who work collaboratively to provide holistic care to support children and their families.

 

We understand the challenges families face and provide tailored solutions to support your child's nutritional needs.

Your Feeding Therapist has a degree in Speech Pathology, Dietetics or Occupational Therapy and has completed additional feeding training

What We Do

Dietitian focus: Nutritional adequacy, micro/macronutrients deficiency, meal plans, weight managemnt, allergies, fueling for active teens.

 

Speech pathologist focus: Functional aspects of chewing, including; bite, swallow, tongue movement and texture modification.

Occupational Therapist focus:

Sensory and emotional regulation to support feeding tolerance.

Functional skill building related to feeding, including; use of cutlery, posture, core stability and seating. 

Evidence Based

At Little Warriors Therapy, we believe in a family-centred approach where parents are actively involved in the therapy process. Together, we empower children to reduce stress at mealtimes.

Our tailored treatments may include Sequential-Oral-Sensory (SOS), Responsive Feeding Therapy (RFT), Food Discovery Exposure Therapy, neurodivergent adaptations or other evidence-based programs.​​
